Properties: This substance is a colorless liquid with almost no odor (has a slight bitter taste) and exhibits very low toxicity. It has a vapor density greater than air and forms crystals at temperatures below 18°C. As an important polar aprotic solvent, it is miscible with a wide range of organic solvents as well as water.
